This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has experience of SAP to join a global business that has been at the forefront of the weighing industry for many years. Their products are used by many of the world's leading retail and manufacturing companies.
The future looks promising for this business with new contract wins on the horizon and they are led by a management team which has been in place for a number of years.
Their culture is a supportive one and there are many examples of employees that have progressed into senior roles within the business or employees that have been retained for many years.
This is an important role for the business and you will be reporting directly into the service director. This is an autonomous and pivotal role within the business, strong people skills are essential as are administrative and communication skills. You will work closely with the service director to help grow their current client base and contracts.
The upselling elements of the role will include calling existing customers and generating any leads for new customers. An incentive will be paid for any customers that are successfully signed up to contracts that have used services in the past.
Due to the nature of the role SAP and experience of Dynamics 365 CRM software is essential for this post.
You will be heavily invested in and training and on-going support will be provided for the successful individual.
This is an office based role. The working hours/days are Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 with a full list of benefits provided at telephone interview stage.
Job specification
- Validate and log orders, checking stock availability.
- Invoicing service orders.
- Invoice queries.
- Daily reports to identify and correct orders stuck in error queues.
- Weekly (or at request) revenue reports for the Service Director.
- Grow the service contract business through 1. Upselling 2. Following up leads 3. Customer asset research via system data records.
- Manage service contract renewals and quotations.
- Creating service contracts and maintenance plans.
- Invoicing service contracts.
- Key account monthly invoicing and asset list maintenance and management.
- Ad hoc customer reports.
- Ad hoc support to the spares department and other areas of the business.
Personal specification
- Customer focus with excellent customer service experience.
- Effective communication skills both oral and written.
- Be a confident problem solver.
- Multitask.
- Experience of a performance managed environment, including working to SLA's and achieving KPI's.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Organized with a good attention to detail.
- Team Player.
- Confident with Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.
- Proficient in SAP and CRM Systems.
