You will undertake a field sales position, responsible for growing sales of our client’s inspection and detection equipment within your region. You will be selling into the food, packaging and pharmaceutical industries and your goal will be to achieve and exceed annual sales targets.
Experience of selling capital equipment into the manufacturing or similar industries is essential.

Job Specification
- Create a deliverable sales plan to meet and exceed the agreed monthly sales revenue target whilst maintaining pricing levels.
- Build credibility with customers and prospect sites based on technical know-how and understanding of their applications.
- Develop a strategy of how to best support the food industry in the region, visit customer sites, assess requirements and identify opportunities to develop new business.
- Prepare customer proposals, follow up and win business in line with the overall business strategy.
- Promote service offering and work closely with the aftermarket team to ensure contract revenue is maximised.
- Update the CRM system for the specified sales area, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
- Feedback competitor activity and market developments to technical teams.
Personal Specification
- Experience of Capital Equipment sales.
- A demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Driven, self-organised and a strong growth mindset.
- IT literate - able to use word, excel, power point and good presentation skills.
- Able to work remotely on own initiative, willing to travel with some overnight stays.
The package includes a company car, bonus scheme circa 25% and there is evidence of others in the sales team earning six figures.
